We made it everybody.
The IFL had a relatively calm and quiet offseason compared to some of their counter parts, but they made up for it with the announcement of the IFL Network and the ripple that sent through the indoor football space.
But now is not the time to get into that, we already discussed that at length and we are just gonna have to see how everything works out. What brings us here today is the celebration of the IFL Season kicking off and starting the year off right with some PICKS!
Last year, Off The Wall went 60-58-1 in IFL picks -- a lot of heartbreak in those losses but also a lot of miraculous covers as well. We're looking to improve on that this year and shooting for 60% -- which would be electric.
The best way to reach 60% is to start with a W -- and the we've got a light 3 game slate this weekend. LET'S FIND SOME WINNERS!

Jacksonville Sharks vs Massachusetts Pirates (Friday 3/21 @ 6 PM CT)
The Play: Jacksonville +5.5
I went a little more in depth on these picks on the Wager Wednesdays show hosted by friend of the program Alec Schuberth, but I like what Jacksonville has done in the offseason and the pieces they have added.
Getting RB Jimmie Robinson Jr from Mass & RB/WR Eddie Vander from Quad City were two of my favorite acquisitions of the entire IFL free agency and is just gonna add so much versatility to the Sharks offensive attack -- one that was desperate for answers for the majority of the 2024 season.
Pirates are still going to be competitive as they always are, but replacing the production that Jimmie Robinson provided them the past couple seasons is going to be a challenge and introducing a new QB to the indoor game is going to take a little time to get them up to speed.
I think the Sharks are in for a big season and this might be one of the only opportunities that you will get them plus the points. Take the +5.5.
Prediction: 43-40 Jacksonville
Green Bay Blizzard vs Quad City Steamwheelers (Friday 3/21 @ 7 PM CT)
The Play: Under 85.5
Death. Taxes. IFL Week 1 Unders.
Last year, Unders started the season on an 8-0 run as teams shook off the cobwebs and got into rhythm. Now also introduce new rules that make things easier on the defensive line and allows for more creativity in pass rushing the offense? I can see Corey Roberson rubbing his hands like Birdman now.
I love the addition of QB Daquan Neal for Quad City and think they have a great chance to win this one as well. Quad City +3.5 or even ML is a play I wouldn't be mad at either. But the Green Bay-Quad City games from last year were low scoring slugfests and I'd anticipate another chapter added to that book here.
Prediction: 41-38 Quad City
Tulsa Oilers vs San Antonio Gunslingers (Saturday 3/22 @ 6 PM CT)
The Play: Tulsa -1.5
One of the biggest things you worry about when you have players changing teams is how quickly they will mesh and get on the same page with their new teammates and coaches. For Tulsa, I don't anticipate that being an issue with new QB TJ Edwards because -- well -- he came over from Frisco (after the Fighters went dormant for the 2025 season) with current OC Andre Coles, RB Martez Carter, WR Cole Blackman, and more.
TJ Edwards is a regular season winning machine -- losing just SEVEN total regular season games in 3 years -- and would expect more of the same in 2025.
San Antonio has a very talented roster and will be a dangerous team all year long, but I think Tulsa just jumps out of the gate a little quicker.
Prediction: 45-40 Tulsa
